We hope this month finds you safe and well during these strange times.

We are very appreciative of all our keyworkers who have done so much for us all over the last six weeks. They are the nations true heroes from the nurses to doctors, care home workers, refuse men and women, the delivery drivers and people working in the supermarkets. All working in the face of danger to keep the people served. Salute to you all.

We saw a phrase earlier this month from an Australian estate agent who declared it ‘business unusual.’ This sounds appropriate. The good news is there are some green shoots of positive news around the Coronavirus coming from other parts of the World. Lockdown is starting to be eased across Europe. We’re now preparing for life after lockdown.

We’ve embraced new technology like never before and have invested in a 360-degree camera and tools that will help view the property almost completely from the comfort and safety of their own homes. We’ve introduced online valuations using smartphones and carried out a few already during the lockdown period. It's certainly unusual, but can be made fun for the vendor and us. At one property the wife's husband remained in his bed.

All you need is Whats App or the free Zoom app on your phone. We can provide you with a valuation based on the video tour around your property, us using Streetview on Googlemaps, satellite viewing and of course expert knowledge of the location.

We’re introducing clean kits to take on valuations and viewings when the Government gives us the green light to get back to work safely. These include shoe covers, facemasks, hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, and other items to ensure the health and safety of people we work with is paramount.

We’re seeing an increase in enquiries from people looking to move post lockdown. Although no one knows precisely what will happen, we’re expecting a busy period once social distancing and the other rules are relaxed. Pent up demand, which will be experienced across the nations industries where lockdown measures are eased.

Any questions about the property market feel free to call or e-mail a request to Zoom and we will be happy to share information and our views.
