The E.ON energy action fund has donated a new efficiency boiler that will save both money and energy costs to a worthy charity, JusB, in Bromley that focuses on school children. The charity is actively involved in providing a safe and warm place for children to receive guidance, music lessons and even do their homework over school holidays.

The boiler also provides fresh, hot water that is used in cooking and crafting workshops provided by JusB. The boiler replaced an 18 year old version that was on its last legs. Now the kids can depend on warm water and the charity can enjoy a low cost heating bill.

The building on College Road that received the boiler, services about 320 kids a year and would face closure if it was unable to keep up the costs of maintaining the building. Thanks to E.ON they can keep this much needed charity up and running.

Key Takeaways:

  • JusB will have the opportunity to focus on serving the community, not concerning itself with its infrastructure.
  • E.ON Energy Action Fund not only helps charities replace old equipment, it helps reduce cost with the amount of energy being used.
  • As the only youth charity in north Bromley, Ned McWhirter is proud of their charity and the fact that they can continue to serve the young people in the area.
